.................... . ....

The bandname STROSZeK is named after the Werner Herzog movie from 1976.

STROSZeK started in 1993. Bandmembers Mike and Robin played together in The Fact and in the last couple of months of The Fact, they started with a new noise project. First they were called Puke, thereafter Good Mourning, followed by The Lady Di's and finally STROSZeK.....Pauline joined them on vocals and Robert played bassguitar and timpani's. They made noise, did some gigs and made even more noise as soon as they found out that people liked them...local media even discribed the music as fairytales pop...whatever that might be....After some recording sessions, Pauline left and the rest put the STROSZeK noise on a lower level for almost 8 years. In 2003, STROSZeK started making noise again. Jeroen (also ex-The Fact) replaced Robin and they decided to use different voices for vocals. Patrick (also ex-The Fact), Mike, Sanne, Evelien and Pauline have all done vocals for STROSZeK songs......more to come!
